Anne Hathaway Oscars 2013 Makeup look
Sunday night (Monday in Australia) was Hollywood’s night of nights, the Oscars- or Academy Awards. My favourite part of the awards is the red carpet arrivals, I love to see what the stars are wearing and their makeup.
One of my favourite makeup looks was Anne Hathaway’s. It was such a classic Audrey-esque look and being a big Audrey fan I decided to try and re-create the look.
You can check out the details of the look, created by Anne’s makeup artist, Kate Lee, here.
For the base I used a similar process to Kate Lee, mosturising my skin, then using a primer and 2 types of foundation.
Anne’s eye makeup on the night was very simple, only using a Grey-lilac shadow on the lid and black gel liner on the outer third of her lid, with a flick at the end. I used the grey-lilac shade (pictured below) from the Sportsgirl ‘Future Star’ eye palette.
The eyeliner I used was black gel liner from the Physicians Formula custom eye enhancing gel cream liner for Blue eyes.
I then applied Ardell 318 Accents lashes and a coat of Rimmel Scandaleyes show off mascara on the top and bottom lashes.
I used Face of Australia blush in ‘Primrose’ and The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer on my cheek bones, bridge of my nose and cupid’s bow.
Then finished the look off with a dusty pink lipstick, I used Rimmel Lasting Finish matte lipstick in #103 and used my finger to ‘pat’ on concealer over it (as Kate Lee did)
Hope you liked my re-creation of Anne Hathaway Oscar 2013 makeup! Who do you think had the best makeup at the Oscars?

Anne Hathaway’s makeup was one of my favourites too! You did a lovely job recreating the look. I think that it is a really wearable look for both day and night really. X
Thanks! Yes, I think so too! it’s a very natural look xo
Beautiful look!
Thanks! xo
Gorgeous! I said it before and I’ll say it again, I love your hair that colour!
You did her look really well! It really suits you 🙂
xx
thanks on all accounts! 🙂 I really like the look on myself too, I think it works well for an ‘everyday’ look. Although, I think I wouldn’t use (or as much) highlighter. xo
great job recreating the look. it looks everyday wearable. love it!
Thanks, coco! 🙂 xo
I actually saw this when you first posted, but I was viewing on my ipad and couldn’t comment…you look GORGEOUS!
You did a fantastic job and I actually think you look even better than she did. I remember thinking it didn’t seem very glam for the occasion.
You should definitely wear it more often. 🙂
aw thanks, hun! I think I will, it was such a simple look to re-create xo
