Father’s Day is a little over a week away and sometimes Dads are harder to buy gifts for than mums are , so I have to put together a list of Fathers day gift ideas, to suit different Dads’ needs.
This year my Dad’s birthday is the day after Father’s day, so it’s even harder to find the perfect gift!
For the new dad
Your Baby’s First Word Will Be Dada by Jimmy Fallon– Okay, so I am biased because I am a huge Jimmy Fallon fan, but that aside…this is the perfect book for new dads or dads that have a small child that has not spoken their first word yet. It works too! not long ago Jimmy mentioned on his show that his youngest daughter, Frances’ first word was in fact ‘Dada’! Available as a hardcover ($24.99) and Board book ($14.99) from Dymocks bookstores.
For the dad with a sweet tooth
Spoon & Fork Dad’s Ultimate Box, cookies– I love these little whimsical cookies from Spoon & Fork, they are made and decorated to look like other foods, but they are all sweet cookies! There are few Father’s day options to choose from. Dad’s Ultimate Box, $22.50 (without card) from Spoon & Fork
For the dad who travels
The Body Shop Modern Gent’s Travel Kit- Great for the dad that travels a lot, the kit includes Maca Root Shave Cream, Maca Root Energetic Face Protector and a complete set of grooming tools for men, including a razor, tweezers, grooming scissors, nail clippers and wine knife. $34.95 from The Body Shop
For the dad with a man cave
Typo ‘Man cave’ A4 wooden sign– Typo are known for their funny and cheeky signs and this is the perfect one for your dad to put up in his Man Cave. ‘Man Cave’ A4 Wooden sign, $12.99 from Typo
Wembley Wheel Coasters– Perfect for a man cave, these cool wheel drink coasters would look great on a bar of your car-loving dad. Wheel Coasters, $20 from Target
Wembley Bottle Cap Dartboard– What’s a man cave without a dartboard? at least when I think of man caves (which is not often because I’m not a man), I picture there being a dartboard or some other bar-style game. Bottle Cap Dartboard, $25 from Target
Do you have any plans for Father’s Day?
