A few months ago I picked up one of the NYX illuminating brozers (total impulse buy!) and going through my makeup I realised that it is still unopened, so I decided to revisit my ‘Swatch Saturday’ posts. Starting with the NYX illuminating bronzer in ‘Magnetic’

My packaging just says ‘NYX illuminator’ but it is definitely the same one as the Target site. I find it odd that it is listed as ‘born to glow liquid illuminator’ when the compact is clearly a powder (and going by the ingredients list)

Target Australia stocks 3 of the NYX illuminating bronzer shades (out of 5), including ‘Chaotic’, ‘Magnetic’ (in this post) and ‘Narcissistic’. They retail for $17.95.

‘Magnetic’ is a peach shade with gold flecks through it, when I swatched it on my hand it seemed quite pigmented. (see below) The powder is smooth and easily bendable.

I think it would work great as a peach blush or blended out as a regular illuminator. You could apply it under your foundation for a ‘glow from within’ effect.
